Uganda can be experienced in many different ways.
Uganda can be travelled throughout much of the year, but weather and seasonal conditions can influence trekking, wildlife viewing and road travel.
Gorilla trekking is available throughout the year, subject to permit availability and park conditions. Many travellers prefer the relatively drier periods for potentially easier trail conditions, while wetter months can bring lush scenery and challenging, muddy paths.

One of the great advantages of travelling through Uganda is the ability to combine very different environments in one journey.
A safari might connect Bwindi with Queen Elizabeth, continue to Kibale and finish beside the Nile or Lake Bunyonyi.
